We came out for the final day of Skiing at Squaw. They’ll open a couple of lifts for the July 4th weekend, but otherwise this is it.
The snow was fairly funky, but where it slid or got skied out was good, e.g. Chute 75.
Having a beer in the Village to celebrate the end of the season.

We got up early for one last powder day at Squaw. There were a ton of people out, since Squaw is the only major ski area still open.
We managed to get first tracks down East Face and got some wind-aided face shots in snow that was mid-shin deep.
Here’s Nancy in Rainbow Bowl off of Shirley Lake.

We spent the day shopping in Reno, and just after we got back it started snowing.
It snowed 8” in four hours. Dude, it’s almost June. We should be golfing already.
